La fotografía fue tomada en la entrada de la casa de su abuelo Mario, ubicada en la calle Enrique Richard, Ñuñoa. Mario Salcedo, el padre de Carlos, era cirujano dentista, especializado en cirugía máxilo facial, trabajó durante 50 años en el Hospital San Juan de Dios y realizó clases en la facultad de Odontología de la Universidad de Chile.
