Fernando González Iribarren, militante del MIR asesinado por agentes de la CNI el 7 de febrero de 1983, en las cercanías de la plaza Manuel Rodríguez, en Santiago.
El año 2006 el Ministro Carlos Gajardo procesó al coronel en retiro Aquiles González y Carlos Sanhueza como autores del homicidio, que en principio fue presentado por los medios de comunicación como un enfrentamiento armado.
