Entrevista realizada en Buenos Aires entre 2017 y 2018 por Gloria Elgueta a Sergio Galvarino Apablaza Guerra, sobreviviente de Londres 38, en la que reconstruye su infancia, formación política, militancia en las Juventudes Comunistas, participación en la Universidad de Chile y en el gobierno de la Unidad Popular, la represión posterior al golpe de Estado, su detención por la DINA, el paso por distintos centros de detención, como Londres 38, Estadio Chile, Cárcel Pública, Penitenciaría, Tres Álamos y Puchuncaví; su expulsión del país, su exilio en Cuba y Nicaragua, y su posterior retorno clandestino a Chile. El testimonio contiene referencias a personas, organizaciones y prácticas represivas relevantes para la memoria reciente de Chile.
